Book Review: Confessions of a Public Speaker by Scott Berkun

Unless you’re a monk cloistered in a monastery somewhere (and maybe even then) you’re probably going to have to do some public speaking. Your game is bringing it every Sunday in a public setting and your skills rely significantly on your public speaking skills, and it’s got to be an update from your third place on the high school debate team.

Thankfully, Jason Clark* of the Deep Church blog has found a useful resource in Confessions of a Public Speaker by Scott Berkun:

Confessions of a Public Speaker is something different, with the inside and personal story of a great public speaker, that is entertaining, inspiring and stuffed full of tips of the nature of public speaking and what makes a great public speaker.

See? Thanks, Jason!

*SHAMELESS PLUG: Jason will be teaching for the Fuller D.Min program October 18-22, 2010 at Fuller’s Pasadena campus.
